Helmed by business tycoon Andrew Tan, AGI has announced a $300 million commitment to create Boracay World Resorts, a boutique casino integrated into a luxury resort setting. “We don’t want a massive structure in Boracay,” stated Tan, highlighting the company’s commitment to maintaining the island’s natural charm. Boracay World Resorts will occupy a significant portion of AGI’s existing 150-hectare township in Boracay Newcoast. This township already boasts an impressive golf course, a secluded kilometer-long beach, and nearly 2,000 hotel rooms. With a separate $400 million investment, the Cebu project is poised to become a premier destination upon its expected opening at the end of 2026.

The Mactan World Resorts, in particular, will feature a state-of-the-art hotel, resort, and casino complex, expected to offer over 5,000 job opportunities to local residents.
